Cancellation & refunds.

1. Scope

This policy applies to subscription fees for the AgriHerd software billed through PayFast for access to the AgriHerd web platform and related services. It does not replace PayFast’s own terms, privacy practices or payment processing rules.

2. Free trial

New companies may receive a 30-day free trial to AgriHerd with full platform access from AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd. During the trial period:

• No subscription payment is required unless you choose to subscribe early.
• If you do not complete payment, your trial will end and access may be restricted.
• You may stop using the service at any time during the trial without being charged.

3. Subscription billing

Paid AgriHerd plans are billed monthly in South African Rand (ZAR) by AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd. Pricing depends on the selected herd limit, animal limit and plan configuration shown on the Pricing page and in your account subscription area.

• Recurring billing is processed securely through PayFast where enabled.
• A subscription period starts once PayFast confirms a successful payment.
• Failed, declined or cancelled payments may leave the subscription inactive or expired.

4. How to cancel

You may cancel future subscription charges as follows:

• Before first payment: simply do not proceed to PayFast checkout, or stop using the account when your trial ends.
• After recurring billing is active: cancel the recurring subscription through PayFast, or contact AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd support and request cancellation before your next billing date.
• Account access: cancelling future billing does not automatically delete your farm data. You may still export or manage records until your paid period ends.

To avoid the next monthly charge, cancellation must be effective before the next recurring billing date.

5. Refund policy

AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd provides software access for the billing period paid. Our standard policy is:

• No refund for partial use: once a monthly subscription payment has been successfully processed and access has been granted, that month’s fee is generally non-refundable.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges: if you were charged twice for the same period, charged the wrong amount, or charged after a confirmed cancellation, contact us within 7 days of the transaction and we will review the case for a refund or credit.
• Failed service delivery: if AgriHerd is unavailable for a prolonged technical outage caused by our platform, AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd may offer a credit or extension at our discretion after investigation.
• Chargebacks: please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we can resolve billing issues directly where possible.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable South African consumer protection law where those rights apply.

6. Plan changes

If you increase your herd or animal limits, the updated monthly total applies from the next successful payment or checkout you complete. Downgrades or limit reductions may require contacting support so your next billing cycle reflects the correct plan.

7. Payment provider

PayFast processes card and subscription payments on our behalf. Payment confirmation, receipts and recurring billing management may be subject to PayFast’s own systems and customer processes.

9. Policy updates

AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page. Continued use of paid subscription services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
