AgriHerd

Livestock management software in South Africa.

AgriHerd is built for South African farms: animal records, breeding, camps and LSU, treatments, feedlot and finance — in the office and in the veld.

What is AgriHerd?

AgriHerd is livestock management software built in South Africa by AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd. It is for farmers who keep goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, horses or wildlife and need one place for the records that used to live in notebooks, Excel and memory.

You record each animal, follow breeding from exposed to birth, place herds on camps with LSU capacity, log treatments and tasks, run a feedlot if you finish animals, and print 36 structured farm reports. iOS and Android apps work offline when signal is poor.

Breeding farms

Four-stage breeding, gestation, Quick Birth, weaning worklists and calving-interval alerts — not a studbook, a working herd system.

Feedlots

Lots, pens, rations, intake, re-weighs and ADG, with five feedlot reports including lot profitability.

Field work

Offline mobile, ear-tag scanning, Tasks assigned to people or an Everyone pool, then verified when the job is done.

What AgriHerd records

AgriHerd vs Excel and notebooks

Spreadsheets are good at storing rows. They are poor at gestation dates, LSU stocking, treatment due lists, weaning work, and a phone in the camp that still works when the network drops.

AgriHerd keeps one record per animal. Breeding, weights, treatments and costs stay on that animal. Reports are produced from the records, not rebuilt each month. That is the difference farmers notice after they leave Excel.

Questions people (and AI search) ask

AgriHerd is livestock management software built in South Africa. It keeps animal records, breeding, camps and LSU stocking, treatments, feedlot performance, sales and finance in one system, with iOS and Android apps that work offline in the veld.

Yes. AgriHerd is designed for South African livestock operations — goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, horses and wildlife — with pricing in rand, PayFast billing, local support, and farm structure that matches camps, sections and LSU stocking.

There is no base plan. Herd Management & Breeding is R250 per month or Feedlot is R250 per month, each with 250 animals and unlimited herds. Both modules together are R500 per month. Extra animals are R250 per 250-head bundle. A 30-day free trial does not require a card.

Yes. The iOS and Android apps sync animal, breeding, treatment, weight and task records offline, then upload when signal returns. The office dashboard is used in the browser when you are connected.

AgriHerd supports goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, horses and other livestock, including wildlife operations. Herd types, gestation periods, age classes and LSU values are configurable.

Spreadsheets and notebooks can store data, but they do not calculate gestation, LSU stocking, treatment due dates or weaning lists, and they do not sync to a phone in the camp. AgriHerd is a structured livestock system: each animal has one record, breeding and treatments stay attached to that animal, and reports are generated instead of rebuilt by hand.
