AgriHerd
AgriHerd is built for South African farms: animal records, breeding, camps and LSU, treatments, feedlot and finance — in the office and in the veld.
AgriHerd is livestock management software built in South Africa by AgriHerd Technologies (Pty) Ltd. It is for farmers who keep goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, horses or wildlife and need one place for the records that used to live in notebooks, Excel and memory.
You record each animal, follow breeding from exposed to birth, place herds on camps with LSU capacity, log treatments and tasks, run a feedlot if you finish animals, and print 36 structured farm reports. iOS and Android apps work offline when signal is poor.
Four-stage breeding, gestation, Quick Birth, weaning worklists and calving-interval alerts — not a studbook, a working herd system.
Lots, pens, rations, intake, re-weighs and ADG, with five feedlot reports including lot profitability.
Offline mobile, ear-tag scanning, Tasks assigned to people or an Everyone pool, then verified when the job is done.
There is no base plan and no per-herd fee. Unlimited herds are included with either module.
Spreadsheets are good at storing rows. They are poor at gestation dates, LSU stocking, treatment due lists, weaning work, and a phone in the camp that still works when the network drops.
AgriHerd keeps one record per animal. Breeding, weights, treatments and costs stay on that animal. Reports are produced from the records, not rebuilt each month. That is the difference farmers notice after they leave Excel.
